Meet Eve!
Hi there! I’m Eve, letterpress printer, calligrapher and designer of Evening Ink.
Though my background is in science, my passion for art has always been evident in my meticulously written school notes and detailed illustrations of complex biological concepts. I loved making handmade cards for friends and family growing up and always loved keeping the cards that were gifted to me.
I love that calligraphy allows me to create with intention. After many late nights watching lettering videos and spending hours in various stationery shops, I took my first calligraphy class in 2019 and immediately fell in love. From the shape and angle of each letter to the way one letter connects to the next, I loved how beautiful something so simple could be.
I have always loved how letterpress printing has the ability to elevate a simple design. Being thoughtful and deliberate in my practice enables me to design meaningful pieces for your event or celebration. I want each piece that I create to tell a story and be something that you’ll treasure for years to come.
I live in Woburn, MA with my husband, Quan, and our rescue pup, Meeko. I still work full time as a Pediatric Cardiac ICU nurse so when I’m not sleeping after my night shifts, I am busy creating in our home studio!
